Scientist III

In this role you coordinate external testing at contract labs and lead multiple analytical studies to qualify single-use components for biologics manufacturing. You will perform bench work with LC-MS and GC-MS, prepare protocols and reports, and ensure shipments and compliance align with project timelines. You contribute to investigations of nonconformances to identify root causes, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and project goals. This position offers hands-on analytical work within a regulated, collaborative environment.

• Coordinate external testing at contract laboratories
• Lead multiple analytical studies for qualification of single-use components
• Author testing protocols and reports
• Coordinate and manage sample shipments to contract labs
• Follow shipping procedures and compliance requirements
• Lead investigations to resolve nonconformance results and identify root causes
• Perform bench work with LC-MS and GC-MS to identify compounds
• Utilize libraries (NIST/Wiley) as needed
• Meet project and customer requirements and timelines

• 5+ years in an analytical laboratory or a graduate degree with analytics experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of LC-MS, GC-MS; ICP-MS a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong writing and revising documents (methods, protocols, reports)
• Experience participating in collaborative teams
