Overview As Assistant In-Room Dining Manager, you support the In-Room Dining Leader in delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume setting. You will supervise an in-room dining team, ensure quality and presentation standards, and coordinate with the kitchen to accommodate special requests. This role focuses on efficient service, guest satisfaction, and profitability within a renowned hospitality brand. Responsibilities- Supervise order takers, delivery attendants, and captains in the in-room dining team
- Monitor food and beverage preparation to ensure quality and presentation
- Coordinate with kitchen for special requests and dietary needs
- Oversee shift operations during peak and overnight hours
- Ensure prompt, courteous service and exceed guest expectations
- Handle guest issues professionally and resolve them quickly
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training of staff
- Schedule shifts for optimal service coverage
- Provide coaching and performance feedback
- Conduct pre-shift briefings on priorities
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with purchasing
- Maintain accurate records of sales, labor, and costs
- Ensure portion control and minimize waste to meet budget goals
- Ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance
- Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of dining areas
- Enforce hotel policies and service standards
- Other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Minimum of one year of F&B leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of in-room dining operations, food safety, and service standards
- Experience in high-volume F&B operations preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems and financial reporting tools
- Effective management, organizational, and communication skills
