Responsibilities- Underwrite ocean cargo risk for a range of clients while guiding risk selection and coverage limits
- Lead and collaborate with underwriters and leaders to drive decisions and maintain strong internal/external relationships
- Own work plans, commitments and outcomes in a fluid, changing business environment
- Leverage analytical insights and data to inform proposals and recommendations
- Support hybrid work model with in-office presence in NYC or Alpharetta on a set schedule
Key requirements- 5+ years of Ocean Cargo underwriting experience
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to propose solutions
- Ability to build relationships with diverse groups and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license for potential territory travel
- Ability to advance into technical or leadership roles
