Sr. Director, HR Business Partner (R & D and Tech Ops & Quality)

Overview

In this HRBP role, you provide strategic HR leadership to the R&D and Tech Ops & Quality teams, translating business needs into people solutions. You partner with leadership to shape talent, culture and organizational change, driving talent strategy, performance management and employee development. You will lead employee relations and coach managers to improve performance. This role connects HR programs with business growth and complex change across the US and global organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR leadership to R&D and TOQ to deliver people processes and HR programs
  • Define and implement value-added HR strategies addressing organization design, development, and change leadership
  • Partner with Talent teams to attract, develop and retain high-quality talent aligned with growth objectives
  • Collaborate with HR specialist functions to roll out engagement and change initiatives
  • Implement key HR processes, including year-end performance management, calibration, and compensation planning
  • Manage employee relations issues and support appropriate actions and accountability practices
  • Coach managers across levels on performance feedback and corrective actions
  • Lead large-scale projects involving culture, change management and organizational effectiveness initiatives
Key requirements
  • 10 years of experience in HR business partnering or related discipline in biotech/pharma
  • Experience developing HR plans and strategies supporting R&D functions
  • Deep expertise in talent management, succession planning, leadership and employee development, employee relations, and engagement
  • Strong change management and organizational effectiveness experience
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to distill complex information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
  • Experience leading large-scale projects and driving change in ambiguous environments
