Overview Senior HRIS Analyst, as a seasoned functional and technical resource, owns Workday optimization and HR system initiatives. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to enhance Workday modules, ensure data integrity, and drive operational excellence. You own project delivery and contribute to the HRIS roadmap, balancing system maintenance with strategic development. Responsibilities- Configure, maintain, and support Workday modules (Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, Learning)
- Troubleshoot data and integration issues, implement sustainable fixes
- Manage Workday integrations (EIBs, Cloud Connect) and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders
- Handle HRIS support tickets with timely resolution and strong end-user support
- Maintain security roles, groups, and domain policies in compliance with privacy and audit requirements
- Ensure data integrity via audits and proactive monitoring
- Maintain and update system documentation
- Gather requirements with cross-functional teams to implement scalable enhancements
- Configure and optimize business processes and workflows for efficiency
- Lead or support small to mid-sized HRIS projects and process improvements
- Participate in Workday release management (impact analysis, testing, configuration)
- Act as liaison between HR, IT, and vendors for system design decisions
- Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement across HR processes
- Mentor and share knowledge with HRIS Analysts
- Contribute to HRIS roadmap with business-aligned system improvements
- Develop and maintain complex Workday reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
- Promote reporting best practices across HR functions
- Support recurring HR metrics and executive reporting
Key requirements- 5+ years hands-on Workday experience (Configuration, Development, Cal Fields, Business Processes, Security, Advanced Reporting/Dashboards)
- Workday Pro Certification preferred
- Experience across full system lifecycle (requirements, analysis, design, testing, deployment, upgrade)
- Strong understanding of HR domain and workflows
- Ability to present technical topics to varied organizational levels
- Project management experience with multi-tasking and prioritization
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
