Overview As Human Resources Manager, you partner with site leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals. You will steward recruitment, performance management, policy implementation, and employee development, while maintaining compliance and reporting KPIs. You'll drive change using Lean principles and lead the local HR team in a manufacturing context. This role offers impact across the organization by shaping people strategies that enable growth and operational excellence. You will engage with cross-functional leaders to turn ideas into real, people-centered outcomes.
Responsibilities- Partner with managers and leaders to translate business goals into aligned HR initiatives
- Lead and support organizational change and risk-taking to achieve company priorities
- Apply Lean Enterprise principles to evaluate HR tools and programs
- Counsel site leaders on policies, performance, discipline, and development
- Manage HR policies, procedures, and programs across the site
- Track and report HR KPIs to predict outcomes and inform decisions
- Engage with community organizations and promote corporate citizenship
- Lead the local HR team and oversee day-to-day HR operations
- Support communications and implementation of key business initiatives
- Handle recruitment lifecycle and employee relations with oversight
- Oversee compliance with HR laws and regulatory requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree (Pref: Business, Human Resources or related)
- Strong understanding of HR functions: recruitment, compensation/benefits, development, organizational effectiveness, employee relations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with database management tools
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
- Proven tracking of large-scale change initiatives
- 6+ years general HR experience and 3+ years as site-wide HR leader
- 3+ years supervisory/management of large teams
- Manufacturing experience
