Securities Services - Private Equity Fund Administration - Associate

Overview

In this role you support daily client deliverables for Private Equity fund administration, including NAV calculations, financial statement prep, capital events, fees and carried interest, and investor reporting. You ensure deliverables align with SLAs and coordinate year-end processes with auditors and tax teams. You work with cross-functional teams to address client issues and escalate where needed, applying keen knowledge of private equity structures and fund governing documents. This is an opportunity to influence client service quality and operational efficiency within a global, risk-aware environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end client deliverables for Private Equity funds, managing expectations and timelines
  • Review governing documents and side letters to ensure accurate reporting
  • Compute NAVs, management fees, and carried interest; allocate investor capital and prepare statements
  • Coordinate year-end processes with auditors and tax teams
  • Monitor and escalate client issues to meet SLAs; collaborate with risk, audit, compliance, and operations
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risks
  • Provide oversight on technical topics and support staff development
  • Assist ad hoc client projects and internal initiatives
  • Maintain adherence to prescribed control policies and procedures or risk framework
Key requirements
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) with 4+ years of Private Equity fund experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP for Investment Funds
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and collaborative management style
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills
