Overview In this role you will help design and scale the next generation of Detail Page optimization algorithms for Amazon's shopping experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Data Science, and Engineering to identify high-impact opportunities and build systems that improve customer experience at scale. You'll translate customer preferences into machine-learning solutions that drive business outcomes. Responsibilities- Develop and refine multi-tiered optimization algorithms for Detail Page and related widgets
- Collaborate with multiple Amazon businesses to identify opportunities and propose new features and systems
- Ensure rigorous algorithm design quality and communicate results to executives
- Work with senior scientists to define and enforce company-wide standards in optimization, modeling, and data analytics
- Contribute to scalable, distributed ML systems and large-scale experimentation
- Present findings and results to stakeholders and drive data-driven decision making
Key requirements- 6+ years of building machine learning models for business applications
- PhD, or Master's degree
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Python or related languages
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
