Overview As Senior Marine Claims Executive, you will lead high-quality claims and advisory services for port, terminal, transport operator, and logistics clients in the NYC region. You'll partner with brokers and senior management to deliver strategic guidance, reporting, and technical support while shaping claims processes and outcomes. You'll review contracts, support new business development, and assist in retention targets, training, and development of claims and underwriting teams. This role combines hands-on claims leadership with client-facing strategy in a hybrid, travel-friendly setting, contributing to the firm's regional claims excellence.

Responsibilities- Provide best-in-class marine claims services in the region
- Oversee claims reporting and strategic advisory to members and brokers
- Assist with contract review
- Support new business development and client retention targets
- Lead training and development for claims and underwriting personnel
- Present to senior management and engage with clients/brokers
- Travel to client sites as needed
Key requirements- 5-10 years direct ocean marine and/or related marine claims experience
- College degree
- Willingness to travel to clients and brokers
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and technical skills
