Overview As Transformation Architect, you will guide architectural governance for AF DCGS-related programs, enabling an agile, responsive engineering approach. You will work with cross-functional teams to validate operation workflows and CONOPS for the software baseline, supporting transitions to automated tools and cloud-enabled environments. You'll review designs for sustainment, maintenance, and cyber patches, and perform trade-off studies to choose optimal technical paths. This role sits within the Enterprise Product Support team and offers a mission-driven, impactful environment focused on safeguarding national security.

Responsibilities- Provide architectural governance to enable agile engineering
- Coordinate with analysts and sustainment to validate workflows and CONOPS for SW baseline
- Plan and review designs for maintenance releases, fixes, end-of-life replacements, hardware refresh, and cyber patching
- Assist with transition to automated tools
- Review design documentation for sustainment and upgrade
- Conduct trade-off studies for engineering change issues
- Follow Configuration Management and conduct reviews of SW Change Requests
Key requirements- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor in Science or 8 years of experience
- 2 years' hands-on experience with systems composed of virtual components in on-prem or cloud environments
- Knowledge of virtual infrastructures including compute/storage/VMs and basic networking
