Overview In this role, you guide SAP S/4HANA transformation sub-programs as a senior technical architect and delivery lead. You translate business demand into end-to-end solution architectures and roadmaps, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant designs. You will collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and SAP functional teams, while managing vendor performance and delivery across plan, build, test, and cutover. The position blends hands-on architecture with leadership in a regulated medical devices environment. You'll contribute to shaping Medtronic's SAP transformation and enterprise-scale initiatives.

Responsibilities- Lead SAP transformation sub-projects (MDG, data governance, integration services, workflow automation, reporting enablement)
- Define and manage scope, milestones, RAID logs, and success metrics with stakeholders
- Serve as technical architect for initiatives-target architecture, integration, security, environments, and non-functional requirements
- Govern delivery through governance cadences, risk & change management, and quality commitments
- Oversee system integrator performance, contracts, invoicing, and knowledge transfer
- Ensure compliance, validation, audit-readiness, and change control across programs
- Prepare deployment and cutover plans, runbooks, and support transition to operations
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of progressive IT experience in large, complex environments
- Proven technical architect and delivery leader on SAP transformation initiatives (SAP S/4HANA and/or major SAP programs)
- Experience leading system integrators with accountability for delivery, quality, and timelines
- Ability to define scope, manage change control, and drive disciplined execution across build/test/deploy/hypercare
- Strong alignment with enterprise standards for integration, data, security, and cloud
