Administrator Oncology Svcs

Overview

In this role you will lead the strategic and operational advancement of oncology services across the Maimonides Health network. You will partner with the Medical Director to shape long-term growth, partnerships, and community referrals, while ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations. You will develop dashboards, monitor KPIs, and drive performance improvement initiatives to align with system goals. This position offers the opportunity to influence cancer care delivery at scale within a respected academic-hospital network. You will work with cross-functional teams to turn strategy into actionable programs and measurable impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic and operational planning for the cancer service line in collaboration with the Medical Director
  • Provide leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, efficient operations, and competent staffing
  • Oversee budget development, resource allocation, and financial performance to meet objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead audit activities with corrective actions
  • Direct full-cycle staff management including hiring, evaluations, and development
  • Supervise daily operations of clinical and non-clinical staff, care delivery models, patient flow, scheduling, and productivity
  • Collaborate with physicians, managers, and senior leadership to implement process improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Monitor operational and financial metrics and drive performance improvement
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects to minimize disruption to patient care
  • Maintain policies and standards related to quality, safety, infection control
  • Ensure licenses, certifications, inspections, and regulatory requirements are current
Key requirements
  • Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field
  • 8-10 years of operating or development leadership in a cancer center or hospital-based specialty service
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • English proficiency; second language preferred
