Overview In this role you help safeguard client interests and drive retention by managing complex insured programs and renewal processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to service accounts, advise clients, and coordinate with carriers to optimize coverage and pricing. You'll lead client meetings, share renewal strategies, and mentor colleagues to raise account management performance. Responsibilities- Daily account servicing and client advisement, including inquiries, coverage and premium issue resolution, data accuracy, endorsements, audits, and certificates; issuance of auto IDs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and carriers; professional, timely communication via email, phone, and in-person.
- Develop remarketing strategy aligned with client servicing standards and market changes.
- Manage renewal process: pre-renewal summary, renewal applications, online quoting, quote review, term negotiation, final proposals, binding, and invoicing.
- Lead or participate in client meetings (virtual or in-person) to review strategies and operations, independently of producer or manager.
- Assist onboarding and training of new associates; act as mentor and SME on renewal strategies, retention, and account management.
- Provide technical guidance to sales staff; lead insurance topic training sessions across markets.
- Contribute to cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts.
- Follow up on accounts receivable per policy; maintain education for broader technical coverage.
Key requirements- Minimum 7 years of similar or related experience
- Property and Casualty license required for state of business and continuing education to retain license
- Ability to analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
