Overview In this role you support high-volume clinical testing, collaborating with the lab team to ensure accurate and timely results. You will operate and troubleshoot analyzers, prepare reagents, and maintain quality control to protect patient care. Responsibilities- Evaluate specimen acceptability for testing
- Perform routine and complex lab procedures per SOPs
- Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation
- Make technical testing decisions and solve problems
- Prepare and evaluate reagents/controls
- Report results accurately for patient care
- Perform preventive maintenance and quality control
- Replenish testing bench supplies
- Assist with specimen processing
- Maintain safe work environment and PPE usage
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility for overtime or different shifts
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
