You will create enterprise-wide architectures that bridge current capabilities with future possibilities, emphasizing cloud-native tech, APIs, AI/ML, and emerging platforms. You define target states, roadmaps, and architectural frameworks that accelerate innovation while upholding standards and governance. You'll strengthen the link between business strategy and technical execution, boosting agility and scalability.

Responsibilities- Provide architectural direction within a segment or domain for a business unit
- Define target state technology architecture and roadmaps
- Prototype and conduct technology proofs of concepts
- Partner in the execution of proofs of technologies
- Contribute to modernization initiatives and reduce technical debt
- Build foundational relationships and secure stakeholder buy-in
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent with 4 additional years of architecture/software engineering experience
- 4+ years of architecture/software engineering experience or 6 years of engineering experience
- Hands-on architecture/engineering with modern technologies
- Experience executing technology modernization initiatives
- Experience working in an agile operating model
- Insurance technology experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and business capability models
