Designed for psychiatric physicians seeking high flexibility and sustainable practice volume, this position offers an exceptional lifestyle framework: part-time schedule options (12 to 16 hours weekly), daytime clinic hours (8:30 AM 5:00 PM), low daily patient volume (6 to 10 clients per full day), and zero call obligations.
The Practice Experience Join a dedicated, multidisciplinary care team delivering compassionate, high-touch psychiatric care to children and adults with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs.
Clinical Scope: Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment tailored to specialized patient populations:
Perform thorough psychiatric assessments and clinical diagnoses for pediatric and adult developmental populations
Direct ongoing medication management, complex psychopharmacology, and authorized controlled-substance prescribing
Maintain a manageable, low-volume caseload of approximately 6 to 10 patients per 7.5-hour clinical day
Collaborate with care coordinators, behavioral specialists, and allied healthcare teams
Schedule & Lifestyle Advantage: Flexible 12 to 16 hours per week scheduled within standard weekday hours (Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM).
Hybrid Work Structure: In-person clinic presence required at least one day per week, offering flexibility for local providers.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications We are seeking a patient-centered, highly adaptable Psychiatrist dedicated to serving neurodiverse and developmental populations ( Note: Candidates must reside within driving distance 30 miles of ZIP code 95128 ).
Credentials & Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Active, unencumbered California State Medical License and active DEA registration.
Health Requirements: Mandatory Flu and COVID-19 vaccination credentials (formal medical or religious exemption documentation accepted).
