Position Description:
Airoom Architects, Builders & Remodelers is a leading design-build firm specializing in high-end custom homes and residential remodeling. We are seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer/Showroom Manager to lead client-facing kitchen and bath design while overseeing showroom merchandising, product strategy, vendor relationships, and project development.
The ideal candidate is a creative and results-driven professional who understands both the client experience and the business strategy behind a successful luxury design showroom. This individual will work directly with clients on high-end kitchen and bath projects while also helping shape Airoom's showroom product offerings, displays, merchandising strategy, and internal product education.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to design and specify high-end kitchens, baths, and residential remodeling projects.
- Conceptualize and present design concepts through drawings, sketches, and digital renderings.
- Guide clients through the design and selection process while building strong relationships and securing commitments.
- Work closely with a team of architects, project managers, and other design professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage showroom product lines, displays, vignettes, samples, and overall presentation.
- Evaluate products, brands, and materials based on design trends, sales performance, profitability, and client demand.
- Develop relationships with vendors and manufacturers and coordinate product updates, pricing, displays, and training.
- Educate Airoom's design, sales, and production teams on products, materials, and industry trends.
- Analyze product and showroom performance and make recommendations regarding product selection, space allocation, and merchandising strategy.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design and/or residential construction, showroom merchandising, luxury home products.
- Strong technical knowledge in design and product for kitchens, baths, and related interior spaces.
- Proven success in managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients in a face-to-face setting.
- Experience with design software and hand sketching is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and various customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Strong understanding of data analysis principles and excel spreadsheets and tracking analysis.
- A college degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- An outgoing and motivating personality with leadership capabilities.
- NKBA certification preferred.
