Inc., headquartered in Melville, NY seeks a Budget & Administrative Associate Specialist (Assoc Specialist, Budg & Admin). The Budget & Administrative Associate Specialist will learn the entire company financial process and will be responsible for all budget submissions and revisions, month end close, invoices and contract analysis related to their assigned areas of the Marketing department. This role is embedded within the Marketing department, working in direct strategic collaboration with the Marketing teams. If you love numbers and analysis, this role is for you! This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Your Impact Budget submission and revisions for assigned areas of Marketing organizationBudget tracking and analysis, including detailed variance reviewMonth end close activities, creation of accrual and reclass journal entriesInvoice review against contract parameters. Learns invoice submission processWorks to become a subject matter expert in all company financial processes and proceduresCollaborates with Marketing team on strategyAssists with projects to establish consistency across various areasGathers financial information as required for various presentations and discussionsWorks toward the development of automation for routine and repetitive tasksTrack and manage Contracts for assigned areaAbout You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 0 to 2 years of related experienceBachelors degree in Business, concentrations in Finance, Accounting, Data, Budget, Statistics, Economics preferredKnowledge of Marketing concepts a plusInternship or work experience in a business setting a plusKnowledge of corporate budget/accounting procedure requiredDetail oriented and precise, ability to multi task in a high paced environmentOvertime when needed during budget periods and month end closeKnowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets requiredKnowledge of other Microsoft/Google tools, Hyperion, AI tools, BI tools a plus We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $66,300 - $81,550 annuallyCompany Overview About our Company - Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States and to Latin America and the Caribbean markets.
