Facility is looking to bring on an additional Gastroenterologist to cover 1 week per month for a minimum of 6 months- potential for extension.

Average Daily Volume: Approximately 8 follow-up patients and 6 8 new consults per day
CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS Board Certification: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Fellowship: Gastroenterology fellowship required
ACLS: Required
ERCP: Preferred, but not required
Malpractice/License History: Clean background required; no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 days
Temporary Privileges: Not available
SCHEDULE Target Start: January 2027
Minimum Commitment: One week of coverage per month for at least 6 months throughout 2027
Coverage: 24-hour call
Call Schedule: Saturday 7:00 AM through the following Saturday at 6:59 AM- in-house from 7a-7p, followed by pager/beeper overnight
Call Ratio: 1:4

Average Call-Back: Approximately 2 hours per week

- ACLS & BLS through AHA - REQUIRED

- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology REQUIRED
- Ability to perform outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, and advanced GI procedures REQUIRED
- ERCP PREFERRED
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system PREFERRED
