Job Summary:
A LeadSystem Installer - Electrical Systems is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and low-voltage systems, including security cameras, access control, and other infrastructure. They ensure all installations meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test electrical and low-voltage systems, such as security cameras, access control, and alarms.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Run and terminate cables, including CAT5/6, coaxial, and fiber optics.
- Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions and wiring issues.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in electrical, low-voltage, or security system installation.
- Knowledge of wiring, circuit testing, and electrical components.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with power tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, BICSI, NICET) preferred.
