Emergency Medicine Physician

Locums - Portage, Wisconsin, Emergency Medicine Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Initial coverage needed November 25-27, 2026
• Ongoing coverage needs anticipated in 2027
• Emergency Department/Urgent Care setting
• Approximately 20 patients per shift
• Approximately 40-60 patients seen across the ED/UC in a 24-hour period
• Level IV Trauma Center

Schedule & Coverage

• Day shift: 6:00 am-6:30 pm
• November 25-27, 2026

Support & Systems

• 2 APCs provide coverage alongside a physician during day through evening hours
• General Surgery and Orthopedic support
• Collaborative Hospitalist team
• Telestroke and Tele-ICU support
• Helicopter transport available on site
• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine required
• Active Wisconsin license required
• IMLC accepted
• ACLS and ATLS required
