Job/Practice Description: Nurse Practitioner - Full-time, employed position
- Practice based in an Internal Medicine clinic
- Provides high-quality, cost-effective pain management for patients under the care of the physician, within the state scope of practice
- Collaborates with the physician to coordinate and manage the process of patient care
- Provides expanded primary health care services for a caseload of patients in the area of clinical specialization
Requirements: - MSN or DNP from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
- Pain management experience preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fundamental knowledge of PC-based applications
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
