INTERNAL MEDICINE GASTROENTEROLOGY

POSITION SUMMARY
This role provides gastroenterology care within a hospital employed program supported by a multispecialty referral network. Responsibilities include managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions, participating in a shared call rotation, and working in a clinic located near the inpatient campus. The position is supported by an advanced practice provider and offers opportunities to engage in medical student and resident education.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri.
• Clinical background in gastroenterology.
COMPETENCIES
• Proficiency in outpatient and inpatient evaluation and management of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Ability to collaborate with advanced practice providers and multispecialty teams.
• Skill in participating in a structured call rotation.
• Capacity to engage in educational activities with trainees.
• Commitment to accurate documentation and evidence based GI care.
