General Surgery Locums Job in Colorado 24 Hour Call October 23rd-25th Plus Ongoing Coverage Starting November Assignment

Coverage Details
24-Hour Call
October 23rd - 25th
Ongoing 10-12 shifts per month beginning in November when schedules are released
Average callback hours:
Weekday: 5.63 hours
Weekend: 4.55 hours
Credentialing timeframe: 30 days
Emergency temporary privileges available

Requirements:
Board Certified General Surgery or truly board eligible (0-5 years from residency completion)
Active Colorado license or active IMLC
ATLS
DEA (site will consider a transferred DEA; must maintain this DEA for the full assignment duration, not just shifts worked)

Assignment Details:
Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Level III Trauma
Number of beds: 39
Days per month: 10-12 ongoing for all locums
Support staff: Echo tech, lab tech, nuclear tech, X ray tech
Patient population: Pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
EMR: EPIC
