Surgery - General Physician

An exceptional full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity is available in Lima, Ohio within a growing cardiovascular program dedicated to advanced heart and thoracic surgical care. The physician will perform complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries while working closely with cardiologists, intensivists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures involving the heart, lungs, and chest
• Manage comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with cardiology, anesthesiology, and critical care teams
• Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Eligibility for Ohio medical licensure
• Strong expertise in cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
