Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This is an exclusively inpatient role at a Level II trauma center, where you will manage an average daily volume of approximately 8 follow-up patients and 6-8 new consults. The practice provides comprehensive gastroenterology services, including performing advanced GI procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD. While ERCP experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The assignment requires a minimum commitment of one week per month, with a 24-hour call schedule from Saturday 7:00 AM to the following Saturday 6:59 AM. During the day, in-house coverage will be from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by pager/beeper support overnight. The call ratio is set at 1:4, ensuring a balanced workload. This schedule allows you to maintain continuity of care while enjoying the flexibility of locum tenens work.

As part of this role, you will join a dedicated care team supported by robust hospital infrastructure. Qualifications
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
