CNC Technician This person is responsible for operating a single CNC machine and managing a small facility. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated individual with a strong CNC background who is open to learning lab equipment, building out a proper process flow, and working closely with a small local engineering team to deliver samples and test results as quickly as possible. Responsibilities: Set up, program, and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes and related equipment to produce precision components, while performing machining operations using lathes, mills, grinders, and saws Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, interpret engineering drawings and work instructions, maintain material flow, and ensure compliance with quality standards and non-conforming material procedures Support engineering and laboratory operations by prioritizing sample preparation and testing, documenting CNC workflows, tracking materials, and collaborating with Engineering, Planning, and Quality teams to deliver accurate and timely results Identify and resolve machining and process issues, manage tooling requirements, promote safe work practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, productivity, and delivery performance Required Skills & Experience: High school diploma or GED 5+ years of experience in CNC programming, set-up and operation Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm Knowledge of Swiss CNC equipment Disclaimer: By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners.
