Locums - Northampton, Massachusetts, Gastroenterology Hospitalist Opening
Clinical Role
- Start date: January 8, 2027
- 13-week assignment
- Adult Gastroenterology coverage
- Call-only hospital coverage
- Approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks
- Inpatient rounding required
- Hospitalists take first call
- Solo Gastroenterologist coverage with no APP support
Schedule & Call
- Weekend call: Friday at 3:00 pm-Monday at 6:00 am
- Approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks
Procedures
- Upper endoscopy
- Lower endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Bread-and-butter Gastroenterology procedures
- EUS and ERCP preferred
Practice Setting & Systems
- Hospital-based call coverage
- Epic EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board certification in Gastroenterology required
- Active Massachusetts license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS required
- DEA required
