Job Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to adult patients in an inpatient setting
- Evaluate and manage adult psychiatric patients
- Provide ongoing inpatient psychiatric treatment as required
- Participate as part of the psychiatric treatment team
- Complete necessary clinical documentation and patient care responsibilities
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry
- Board Certification must be through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
- Board-Eligible candidates generally do not meet contract requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in both:
- New York State Medicaid
- Medicare
- Medicaid and Medicare enrollment must remain current throughout the assignment
Working Hours
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- No weekend coverage required
