Job Responsibilities- Perform upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopies, including biopsies, foreign body removal, and bleeder cauterization.- Conduct lower GI endoscopies such as sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision.- Handle patient procedures with moderate sedation, occasionally supported by anesthesiology.
Qualifications- Board Certified in Gastroenterology- BLS and ACLS certification required- Experience with moderate sedation techniques- Completed fellowship in Gastroenterology
Working Hours- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills- Proficiency in performing GI endoscopic procedures- Comfort with administering moderate sedation- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and support personnel- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
