FACILITY INFORMATION
  • No. of Beds in Department: 37 ED beds
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Support Staff Available: APPs, RNs, radiology, lab services
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred)
  • Licenses: Active FL Medical License, DEA with FL address
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required
  • Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
  • Other Qualifications: Case logs from past two years, CME documentation from past two years, Stroke CME requirement (6 hours within 2 years or 9 hours within 3 years), Current Flu, TB, and COVID compliance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED
  • Perform all department-required procedures
  • Collaborate with APP and nursing staff
  • Participate in cross-credentialing and scheduling across multiple AdventHealth facilities
  • Maintain compliance with credentialing and licensing requirements
