- 3 Clinic Days
- 2 OR Days Per Week
Call Schedule: TBD; Rotation
Call Type: Shared Call
Call Ratio: Approximately 1:6 if Participating in Call Rotation
PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult Urology Patients
Patient Volume/Census: 2530 Clinic Patients Per Day; 5-6 Surgeries on OR days
Admissions: As Required
Rounding: Included as Needed
Phone Consults: Supported by Nurse Triage Team
Case Mix: General Urology, Robotic Urology, and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction
FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System
Specialty Backup Available: Hospital-Based Multispecialty Support
Support Staff Available: 24-Hour Nurse Triage Service and Established Urology Team
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 Days

JOB REQUIREMENTS Active Medical License Required
Board Eligible Required; Board Certified Preferred
Active DEA
Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Urology
Experience: Robotic Surgery Experience Required
Other Qualifications: Robotic Training Required; Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Experience Strongly Preferred; Ability to Work in Both Clinic and Operating Room Settings
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage
Perform robotic and general urologic surgical procedures
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urologic conditions
Participate in shared hospital call coverage as assigned
Document patient care activities within Epic EMR
