️ Job Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage at outpatient and/or inpatient facilities in the Phoenix and Scottsdale region. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work with a collaborative team in a thriving healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and consultative services
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in call coverage as needed (may include nights/weekends)
- Document patient encounters in EMR systems
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in ERCP and/or EUS (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical environments
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available (weekday, weekend, or block scheduling)
- Duration: 2 6 months with potential for extension

Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Active Arizona medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
