Line Cook / Kebab Grill Cook

Ariana Kabab is an upscale fast-casual Afghan restaurant opening at 1737 S Orange Ave in SoDo, Orlando. Our menu is built around Zabiha halal kebabs and rice, along with Afghan appetizers, stews, naan, tea, and desserts. We are a counter-service restaurant with a fully equipped kitchen and expect high volume at weekday lunch from Orlando Health next door.We are looking for cooks who take pride in consistency, cleanliness, and speed. Experience with kebabs, charcoal grilling, or Afghan, Persian, Turkish, or Middle Eastern cooking is a strong plus, but we will train the right person.ResponsibilitiesGrill chicken, beef, lamb, and kofta kebabs to order and to specCook Afghan rice (palaw), stews, and side dishes following our recipesMarinate and skewer meats, bake naan, and complete daily prep listsWork the grill, flat top, fryer, or prep station as assignedPortion and plate orders quickly and accurately during rushesKeep stations, equipment, walk-in cooler, and freezer clean, labeled, and organizedFollow food safety, temperature, sanitation, and halal handling standardsReceive and rotate deliveries, and flag low stock to the managerComplete opening, closing, and deep-cleaning dutiesQualifications1+ year of line cook or kitchen experience preferred; kebab or grill experience a strong plusKnowledge of Afghan, Persian, or Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus but not requiredAbility to work quickly and stay organized in a hot, fast-paced kitchenAble to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 poundsReliable and punctual with flexible availability, including evenings and weekendsFlorida food handler certification preferred, or willing to obtain it before startFull-time and part-time positions available.
