Looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a turnkey practice with an experienced team of providers! Our NPs have 10+ years of GI experience. Jesse Houghton, MD, FACG, has been rooted in the community since 2012! Will be busy immediately! Call is light.
Compensation & Benefits Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000
Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000

Practice Location- Single practice location at SOMC Gastroenterology Associates located in Portsmouth, OH
- Hospital Endoscopy Suite is a 2 minute walk from office location
Office Hours/Work Schedule- Clinical office is open M-TH 8:00 a.m. 5:00p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Staffing- 1 physician, 2 NPs
- 1 Service Line Manager
- 1 Office Manager
- 2 LPNs
- 3 MOAs
Call Schedule- Call is light
- Can take call from home, rarely need to come in for emergent cases
- Pay for call program
Case Load- 10-15 procedures per day in Endo Suite
- 30 patients per day in clinical office
Equipment- Olympus scopes and video equipment, everything is monitored
- New Provation Medical Documentation System (electronic medical record, sends orders to office, post op notes dictated and printed, consults to other physicians - helps with coding and billing). The Provation system does interface with the Olympus system.
