Assignment Details- Start/end: Defined blocks - Nov 23-26, Dec 1-4, Dec 29-Jan 1; 3-7 days/month
- Schedule: On-call daily; inpatient and EMTALA call
- Coverage type: Inpatient/EMTALA call, no ambulatory work
- Volume: No clinic patients; adult population
- Setting: Group of 2 interventional cardiologists; other ICs present during coverage
- Support: 2 interventional cardiologists in group
- EMR: Epic Cupid
Clinical Details- Required scope: Interventional cardiology - balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, coronary angiograms; expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital, general cardiology consults as needed, and read EKGs, echos, and stress tests (including nuclear stress)
Requirements- Board certified in Interventional Cardiology
- License: KY or IMLC (IMLC considered with 3-7 days/month availability)
- ACLS
- Active DEA
Compensation- Rate negotiable, open to your number
