PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: 90 days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Upper and lower endoscopies
  • Colonoscopies
  • General GI procedures
  • Daily rounding
  • Add-on cases as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active MA license
  • Board: BC in Gastroenterology
  • DEA: Required
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year
  • Other Qualifications: Name and NPI required for clearance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Round each morning on GI patients
  • Perform upper and lower endoscopies
  • Perform colonoscopies
  • Handle general GI procedures and add-on cases
  • Provide night call coverage Monday-Thursday (second call with PA support)
  • Optional weekend call coverage (Fri 3:00 PM - Mon 7:00 AM)
