Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for urgent care coverage at a new facility opening May 22. This is an ongoing opportunity with an initial three-month coverage need and additional PRN opportunities as staffing needs arise.

Located approximately 25 miles southwest of downtown Boston, with access via the Franklin/Foxboro commuter rail line.

• Start Date: May 22

• Initial Coverage: 3 months

• Ongoing Need: 36 hours per week

• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week

• Weekday Hours: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM

• Weekend Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

• Preferred Availability: Weekdays

• Additional Opportunities: Ongoing PRN shifts with monthly staffing needs.

• Coverage Type: Full-time locum coverage and PRN opportunities.

• Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Minimum Experience: 1 year in Family Practice, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine

• State License: Active Massachusetts license required

• DEA: Massachusetts DEA required

• CDS: Required

• Certification: BLS required

• Provide urgent care services in an outpatient setting.

• Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of acute medical conditions.

• Perform urgent care procedures, including:

  • Suturing

  • Splinting

• Must be proficient in common urgent care procedures.

• New facility opening May 22.

• Daily clinical support includes:

  • Advanced Practice Provider

  • Medical Assistant

  • X-ray Technician

  • Reception staff

  • Administrative support

• EMR: Experity experience preferred, but not required.
