Physician / Illinois / Permanent / Locums- General Cardiologist needed for locums coverage in the Bloomington Illinois area Job

Locums - A well respected healthcare system is seeking a General or Invasive Cardiologist for a high-priority, ongoing need in the Bloomington Illinois area.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist (General, non-invasive, or invasive cardiologists accepted)
• ASAP start for ongoing coverage
• All coverage is scheduled in 24-hour shifts. Shifts are 24 hours. Providers are required to be onsite from 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, followed by overnight call.
• Weekend coverage is part of a 1:4 call rotation
• Clinical Responsibilities - Inpatient hospital rounding and new cardiology consults - Average patient volume of patients per day- Work alongside an APN during hospital coverage- Provide cardiology coverage and respond to consults as needed.
• Required Skills & Qualifications - General Cardiology - Must be able to perform TEE - Ability to read nuclear medicine studies and stress tests preferred- Cardioversion experience preferred/as needed - Tilt table experience preferred.
• Practice Setting & Support- Inpatient hospital setting- Team-based coverage model- An APN will provide support during hospital rotations- Another provider handles outpatient noninvasive testing during the day.
• EMR is EPIC
• Active IL license with ACLS and BLS
