What You ll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients in the emergency department.
- Provide care for patients of all ages.
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient emergency medicine cases.
- Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Coordinate care with emergency physicians and registered nurses.
- Manage an average of approximately 36 patient visits per day.
- Complete clinical documentation using the Meditech electronic medical record.
What You Need
Required - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant credentials.
- Board certification or board eligibility.
- Ability to treat patients of all ages.
- Availability for scheduled 10-hour emergency department shifts.
- Ability to complete required credentialing documentation.
- Onsite orientation one day before the first scheduled shift.
Preferred - Emergency medicine experience.
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records.
About the Assignment
This emergency department assignment provides coverage seven days a week, with support from emergency physicians and registered nurses. Coverage is needed from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on scheduled dates, including 12 31, 01 05, 01 17, 01 31, 02 28, and 03 31. Credentialing may take approximately 30 days, and temporary privileges may be available when needed. Travel and lodging support may be available.
