CRNA locums coverage is needed in North Carolina for an inpatient anesthesia service with scheduled clinical hours plus call, supported by an anesthesia team with MDA coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

• Short, defined coverage block in late March to early April 2027
• Inpatient OR case mix including general surgery, ortho, urology, GYN, C sections, and optometry

Practice Setting

• Inpatient setting
• Adult patient population
• Approx 1,000 cases per quarter
• Supported by an anesthesia team, MDA covers 24 hours a day, 7 days per week

Schedule

• Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Call requires a 15 minute response time
• Coverage dates run from late March through early April 2027

Cases and Procedures

• Administer intravenous, general, and regional anesthetics, regional experience preferred but not required
• Cases include general surgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, gynecological, C sections, and optometry

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Board certified
• North Carolina license required, will not wait for license
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
