OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in South Carolina 24 Hour Call Coverage Urgent
Our client in South Carolina is seeking a board certified OB/GYN for 24-hour call coverage. They may ask for clinic coverage periodically.
Details for Assignment :
Must be Board Certified OB/GYN
Must be licensed in South Carolina
South Carolina controlled substance and DEA required
Will be required to round on inpatients in the hospital daily (even on weekends)
Average number of inpatients rounded on per day = 1-3 patients
Average number of deliveries per day = 1-3
Must be comfortable with vaginal deliveries, as well as cesarean deliveries
ED consults for OBGYN patients as needed
APP covers the clinic, but the locum may need to assist in clinic for complex or emergent cases.
Daily inpatient rounding required, including weekends, with an average census of 1-3 patients per day.
Average volume includes 1-3 deliveries per day and 2-4 NSTs/observations daily.
Responsible for OB/GYN ED consults as needed.
No inpatient midlevel support available.
Patient population ranges from 15-70 years old
Circumcisions are not required and are handled by Pediatrics
Provider must be comfortable working independently in a rural setting.
