Facility in Bloomington, IL seeking EP Cardiology locums coverage Rates: $3500/24 hours with 8 hour gratis, $325/hr call-back after 8hours Opportunity Highlights - Start Date: July 31, 2026 (Ongoing).
- Schedule: 24-hour call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM).
- Volume: Estimated 15 shifts per month.
- EMR: EPIC.
- Credentialing: 60-day timeframe; Temporary Privileges available.
Clinical Scope & Procedures The provider will manage both inpatient and outpatient services, providing consultations for Hospitalist and ICU services while participating in multidisciplinary structural heart care. Required Procedures:
- Device Management: Insertion, revision, replacement, and removal of pacemakers and ICDs.
- Ablations: Cardiac ablation procedures for various arrhythmias.
- Structural Heart: Watchman device implantation.
- Diagnostic: Loop recorder implantation/removal and cardioversions.
- Consultative: Inpatient consults and multidisciplinary cardiac surgery support.
Provider Requirements - Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (Required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-fellowship experience.
- Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) State License in hand (Required). IMLC is not accepted for this position.
- Certifications: Active ACLS, DEA, and IL CSR.
- Commitment: Must be able to provide consistent, recurring coverage.
