Job description

Case Volume & Clinical Scope
  • Daily Workload: The physician is expected to handle an active caseload of 6 10 procedures per day (or average roughly 55 RVUs per shift ).
  • Core Required Procedures:
    • Image-guided vascular access and interventions (Angiography, venography, angioplasty, stent placement, and thrombectomy/thrombolysis).
    • Embolizations (including uterine artery embolizations UAE , GI bleeds, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts TIPS , and tumor embolizations).
    • Fluoroscopy-guided procedures, including G-tube placement, tunnelled catheters, and percutaneous nephrostomy tube placement.
    • Routine image-guided care: CT/US biopsies, myelograms, arthrograms, chest tube placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
  • Highly Preferred Experience: Endovascular Therapy (EVT) proficiency for treating acute ischemic strokes and pulmonary embolisms (PE) .
  • Diagnostic Reads: This is an IR-focused role; there are no heavy general diagnostic overflow reading requirements expected outside of procedural imaging
