Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• BS completion preferred.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
6 months Respiratory Therapy experience in a general care area preferred.
Epic EHR training preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Unit Details:
Adult inpatient units; may manage a pediatric patient in the ER setting prior to transport.
Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics.
Therapeutic procedures include CPAP/BiPAP, jet aerosol, oxygen therapy, incentive spirometry, chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, high flow oxygen, continuous aerosols, ventilator management, and diagnostic testing.
Clinical work includes EKGs, electronic monitoring, lead placement, and basic arrhythmias.
Arterial blood gas punctures and testing, airway maneuvers, and bedside pulmonary function testing are performed.
Non-invasive respiratory therapy equipment includes oximeters and end-tidal CO2 analyzers.
Chest suction equipment and chest X-ray interpretation are part of the clinical work.
Responds to cardiopulmonary resuscitations and actively participates as indicated by clinical circumstances.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
