Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
Graduate of a NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program is required.
Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
Unit Details:
Performs, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic testing procedures according to protocol and obtains arterial gases.
Initiates respiratory protocols and interventions based on assessment findings.
Administers medications and evaluates their effects.
Teaches patients and families self-care techniques and modalities.
Acts as a resource to CRT staff.
Floating Requirements:
May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
Shift & Scheduling:
May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required
