Locums - Jupiter, Florida, Breast Imaging Radiology Job

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible breast imaging radiologist

• Onsite position - teleradiology is not available

• Monday-Friday schedule

• Typical hours:

  • 8:30 a.m.-4:00/4:30 p.m. when three radiologists are working

  • 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. when two radiologists are working

• Approximately 50-60 cases per day

• Case mix includes:

  • Screening mammography

  • Diagnostic mammography

  • Breast ultrasound

  • Bone density studies

  • Breast procedures

• Some cases involve multiple studies, such as screening mammography combined with breast ultrasound and/or bone density

• Breast procedures may be performed based on the radiologist's comfort level

• Opportunity to perform 3+ breast procedures per day, depending on comfort level and volume

• Procedures may include stereotactic breast biopsies

• PACS: Change Healthcare

• Dictation: PowerScribe

• EMR: Epic
