Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 6 months, with option to extend

Position: 1 2 FTEs needed

Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic with hospital call coverage

Patient Volume: Approximately patients per day

EMR: EPIC experience preferred, but not required

Staff Support: Clinical assistant (MA or LPN) assigned to each provider and on-site RNs, except at Greenway. Providers collaborate with midwives and two nurse practitioners.

Locations: Four Allina Health clinics in Minnesota, with the greatest need at Eden Prairie. Local or commuting providers preferred.

Monday Friday, 7 AM 3 PM, with flexible start and end times

Potential overnight call: 7 PM 7 AM

Potential weekend call: 7 AM 7 AM

Call shifts may be 12 or 24 hours.

One FTE may be split between two providers, with each covering two weeks per month.

General OB/GYN outpatient clinic care

Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) insertion

Colposcopy

Endometrial biopsy

Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP)

Hospital call coverage as needed

Board certification in OB/GYN

Active Minnesota medical license

DEA required

Minimum 1 year of experience

Credentialing timeframe: days

Emergency privileges may be possible for candidates with a clean background.
