Otolaryngology Physician

Seeking an experienced Trauma Surgeon for hospital-based coverage at a 593-bed Level I Trauma Center.

• All-age patient population

• Approximately one week of coverage per month

• 24-hour call coverage

• Call rotation: 1:4

• Plastic surgery support available onsite

• Oral and maxillofacial (OMF) support available but not onsite

• EPIC EMR

• 24-hour call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM

• Average callback: 4 6 hours per day

• Current coverage dates:

  • February 8 at 7:00 AM through February 15 at 7:00 AM

  • March 22 at 7:00 AM through March 29 at 7:00 AM

• Provide trauma surgery coverage at a Level I Trauma Center.

• Evaluate and manage trauma patients of all ages.

• Provide 24-hour call coverage and respond to cases requiring surgical intervention.

• Work with onsite plastic surgery support and access to OMF support when needed.

• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in the applicable specialty

• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) only

• DEA registration required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience

• EPIC experience

• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days
