Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery BariatricsLocated: Cooperstown, NYFull-Time PositionAn established hospital-based General Surgery team in Central New York is seeking a PA or NP to join a collaborative group of 11 Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians, including a Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery subspecialty team.Position Highlights: Primarily OR-based role; first assist in complex surgical cases Some outpatient clinics and call responsibilities Requires extensive surgical and inpatient hospital experienceCompensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $123,000 - $140,000 plus performance-based incentives Sign-on Bonus: Up to $50,000 Hospital-employed model with full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid malpractice, CME time and stipend, and generous PTO Supportive transition bonus and leadership development pathways Emphasis on provider well-being, with virtual scribes and in-basket support availableRequirements: Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant NY State licensure BLS and DEA certification required
